hin-walled structures are wide ranging and diverse. They include aircraft and aerospace structures, ship, car, and rail structures, bridge, building and offshore structures as well as pressure vessels and storage structures to name some. Thin-walled structures are manufactured from many different materials and by numerous manufacturing processes. This paper looks at recent developments of simple user friendly microcomputer programs for thin-walled structures applications.
