Abstract

The move to objective assessment of surgical skills in training programmes requires a validated training and assessment model for flexor repair, which is an "index case". The current study evaluated the role of mechanical testing of tendon repairs as an objective means of evaluating the learning effect of flexor tendon repair training in a porcine model.
