Abstract

In this paper we present a conceptual model of knowledge levels. There are so far two such models; the present one does not build on them but, as we have found out later, it is coherent with both of these and even establishes connection between them. Our model does not aim to replace the two existing ones; they all serve different purpose and should thus coexist. The primary purpose of our model is to serve as research framework for forthcoming researches into the nature of knowledge but it can also be used to estimate the levels of personal knowledge.
