Abstract

This book takes a multidisciplinary look at various hot issues in present day tourism development, including studying how global the industry has become; new forms of travel like space tourism; new trends in marketing and promotion. It also deals with the threats posed to tourism development by wars, global terrorism, and epidemics and concludes with an optimistic view of the industry's resilience.
