Abstract
The authors or this comment read a report (Water Res. 35(17) (2001) 4231) with interest. They agreed with the authors of the report that the identification and enumeration of waterborne Cryptosporidium spp. oocysts is an onerous task and that over the last 15 years, great efforts have been made to improve oocyst detection.
