Strathclyde Open Access research that creates ripples...

The Strathprints institutional repository is a digital archive of University of Strathclyde's Open Access research outputs. Strathprints provides access to thousands of research papers by University of Strathclyde researchers, including by Strathclyde physicists involved in observing gravitational waves and black hole mergers as part of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) - but also other internationally significant research from the Department of Physics. Discover why Strathclyde's physics research is making ripples...

Strathprints also exposes world leading research from the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, and from the Strathclyde Business School.

Abstract

Speak Up! Inverclyde Group, is a group of young people who are involved in organising activities for young people, and consulting with young people about issues that affect them. The Speak Up! group support the development of the Inverclyde Youth Council. During 2010 the Speak Up Inverclyde Group and the Zero Status magazine group joined together. This enabled the young people to become involved in a wider range of activities including writing articles for the Young Scot website, interviewing celebrities, carrying out research and reviews and consulting with other young people. The new group have also taken over the administration and design of the Inverclyde web page on the Young Scot website.
