A RANS solver is used to predict roll hydrodynamic coefficients (added inertia moment and damping) of a two-dimensional section with/without bilge keels on the free surface. The viscous flow field disturbed by the forced roll motion is solved in time domain with VOF and two-phases flow approach. The roll hydrodynamic coefficients are derived from time histories of the roll hydrodynamic moments. The results are compared with published model test measurements and a fairly good agreement was found.
