Reports on three legislative developments of interest to family law practitioners: (1) the draft Human Tissue and Embryos Bill which will amend the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990 relating to the paternity of children born from fertility treatment and the removal of s.13(5) of the 1990 Act which requires providers of fertility treatment to take account of the welfare of any child born from such treatment; (2) the Law Commission's recommendations on financial readjustment at the end of cohabitation; and (3) the Scottish Law Commission's discussion paper on the reform of the law of intestate succession.
