Abstract

This chapter has been published in the third in a series of annual books dealing with Green movements and political parties. This volume concentrates on the theoretical aspects of ecologism and the importance of the left-right dimension for Green theory and practice. It includes a case-study of the internal dynamics of the Austrian Greens, a comparison of the activities of Greenpeace and Earth First! and chapters on the belief systems of British Green Party members
