Abstract
An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses a European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EISAM) European Workshop that we held in Munich, Germany, managerial and organizational cognition, and a report within the issue by Anne Wallemacq and Jean-Marie Jacques on attempts to use maps as a representative surrogate for cognition.
